Company

This well-established Australian company is a specialist manufacturer of farm chemical spray additives. With the recent launch of their line of adjuvants into other countries, the company is rapidly growing. Their Melbourne based site has been manufacturing farm chemical additives for the past 11 years.

Position

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the representation of the company and the sales and marketing of product lines within the defined sales territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management of key reseller accounts
  • Support all sales and marketing activities
  • Provide technical advice to customers and growers
  • Liaise regularly with private consultants, and large end users within the territory
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers

Skills and Experience
  • Significant agronomy or related experience (Ideally a minimum of 10 years)
  • A strong technical background in agricultural chemicals
  • Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Products
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with customers

Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in agricultural science or related discipline
Working away from home and Interstate travel will be required at times.
