Our Client

This company specialises in high analysis trace element suspension concentrates and liquid crop nutrition products for enhancing yield and quality in all broadacre, horticulture, viticulture, fodder and turf enterprises. They aim to deliver benefits to growers through the focused provision of essential nutrients. Due to company growth, they seek a Territory Manager to continue to build and manage existing business relationships in SA with a focus on developing new markets.


Customer focused, the Territory Manager (SA) will be responsible for maximising the sales revenue, margin and volume of company products within the designated territory through extensive contact with distributor clients and key influencers of buying decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop sales plans by client and product
  • Implement market and technical support strategies to achieve sales targets
  • Maintain close relationships with key accounts
  • Provide training, product knowledge and accurate advice on product use
  • Assist growers in the territory to identify specific opportunities for improvement
  • Develop new business opportunities
  • Provide monthly progression reports on performance

Location and Travel

This role will require extensive travel and being away from home regularly. As such, an unencumbered drivers licence will be required, and the base location of this role is flexible (close to greater Adelaide preferred).

Skills and Experience

  • Sound understanding of agronomy principles across broadacre / horticulture crops
  • Practical knowledge of the development and implementation of sales strategies (crop and soil nutrition experience preferred)
  • Outstanding sales and influencing skills
  • Ability to initiate new client contacts and follow through to closing a sale
  • Commercial acumen and understanding of the challenges and economics of rural distribution


  • Tertiary qualifications in business or agricultural science whilst not essential would be highly advantageous
