This national corporate broadacre agriculture business is establishing a significant presence in key cropping regions across Australia. Through significant recent acquisitions the company is aiming to find two experienced Regional Operations Managers to lead the large-scale cropping operations for a number of farming aggregations in key cropping regions across Australia.


Each Regional Operations Manager will have designated regional responsibilities (East and West).

The Regional Operations Managers will spend significant time in their designated regions.

This position will be responsible for the East (VIC/NSW) operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Regional Operations Manager – Cropping (East) will be an integral part of the leadership team, with responsibility for managing the Farm Managers in implementing the annual cropping program. Developing regional relationships and identifying future acquisitions will be a key aspect of these challenging leadership roles.

Key Resonsibilities

  • Identify future acquisition opportunities
  • Develop relationships with agents and potential vendors
  • Lead and support the farm managers to develop and implement operations
  • Assist with the development of annual farm budgets
  • Review individual farm performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Analyse and report on key development projects to increase investor returns
  • Lead and manage all regional contractor relationships and tenders
  • Foster effective teamwork and collaboration across the team

Skills and Experience

  • Extensive large scale broadacre cropping experience (5+ years)
  • Previous experience leading and managing a team
  • Previous financial management experience
  • Experience in the application of precision farming technology
  • Agronomic knowledge applicable to key cereal cropping regions
  • Computer literacy with farm management packages, Excel and Word


  • Post-Secondary qualifications in Agribusiness, Business or Commerce
  • Current and valid driver’s licence as travel will be required

Employment is subject to a satisfactory national police check. This will be undertaken and paid for by the employer
